Nio has introduced its fourth-generation battery exchange station in China, marking a significant advancement in its service offerings. The new ‘Power Swap Station 4.0’ boasts a 22% faster swapping process than the previous generation, completing a swap in just 144 seconds.

The first batch of NIO Power Swap Station 4.0 went live. The fourth generation supports automated battery swap for multiple brands and different vehicle models. NIO, ONVO and all battery swap strategic partners can access the new stations for a comprehensively elevated battery swapping experience that is more convenient than gas refueling.
As of June 13, NIO has installed 2,432 Power Swap Stations and 22,633 chargers in China, among which 804 swap stations and 1,650 super chargers are on highways. NIO is the car company with the largest battery swapping and charging network in China.
Volvo Cars and Vargas portfolio company Northvolt have selected Gothenburg, Sweden, to establish a new battery manufacturing plant. The plant will commence operations in 2025, create up to 3,000 jobs and complement the planned R&D centre that both companies announced in December as part of an investment of approximately SEK 30 billion.
Volvo Cars and Northvolt announced the joint battery cell factory in February 2022 and received building permission from the Swedish Land and Environment Court this summer. In August, the city planning committee in Gothenburg also granted building permits for the first construction phase.
For Sweden, the Novo plant is the second battery cell production facility after Northolt’s plant in Skellefteå. Volvo Cars and Northvolt first announced plans for the plant in the Gothenburg district of Torslanda, near Volvo’s vehicle plant there, in February 2022. At the time, the aim was to have the plant up and running by 2025.

To manually enable the battery saver, go to Settings > System > Power & battery > Battery saver and click Turn on now. To enable battery save automatically, go to Power & battery settings, expand Battery saver, and set the desired activation percentage. Method 1. Using Quick Settings
To enable Battery Saver in Windows 11, go to System > Power & battery, then scroll down to Battery saver and turn it on. You can also set Battery Saver to turn on automatically at a certain battery level.
You can enable the battery saver mode using the Settings app in Windows 10. Here’s how. Open the Settings app by pressing the “Windows key + I” shortcut. Go to the “ System ” > “ Battery ” page. Turn ON the “ Battery Saver ” toggle. With that, the battery saver mode is turned on instantly.
Turn on or off battery saver Find the Battery saver under Battery, and click to expand Battery saver. Click on the Turn on now option to enable the battery saver. If you want to disable the battery saver, you can click on Turn off now to disable battery saver.
