The functions of CATL's lithium-ion battery energy storage system include capacity increasing and expansion, backup power supply, etc. It can adopt more renewable energy in power transmission and distribution in order to ensure the safe, stable, efficient and low-cost operation of the power grid.

The photo shows the energy storage station supporting the Ningdong Composite Photovoltaic Base Project. This energy storage station is one of the first batch of projects supporting the 100 GW large-scale wind and photovoltaic bases nationwide.
The solution adopts new energy (wind and diesel energy storage) technology to provide a reliable guarantee for the stable operation of communication base stations.
Going forward, various tests and performance experiments will be carried out to provide data support for the testing and standard setting of grid-forming energy storage.
