Developing a prototype system to ensure the effectiveness of the hybrid solar PV/H/FC-based green mobile communication. The overarching objective is to exploit the complementary nature of solar and wind resources to improve system reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. Such hybrid systems are particularly effective for remote or isolated locations where the energy grid is either unstable or unavailable.
Despite extensive literature study about the technical, economic, and greenhouse gas (GHG) assessment of the hybrid P2H2P, there is no research available to identify the potentials of the renewable energy-powered cellular base station using hybrid as energy storage.
The intermittent nature of standalone renewable sources can strain existing power grids, causing frequency and voltage fluctuations . By incorporating hybrid systems with energy storage capabilities, these fluctuations can be better managed, and surplus energy can be injected into the grid during peak demand periods.
