In recent years, many models for base station power con-sumption have been proposed in the literature. The work in proposed a widely used power consumption model, which explicitly shows the linear relationship between the power transmitted by the BS and its consumed power.
In this paper, a distributed collaborative optimization approach is proposed for power distribution and communication networks with 5G base stations. Firstly, the model of 5G base stations considering communication load demand migration and energy storage dynamic backup is established.
The architecture and coordination optimization model composed of a 5G communication network and distribution network is proposed in Section 3. Afterward, a distributed coordination algorithm is designed in Section 4 with simulation results presented in Section 5. Finally, Section 6 concludes the paper. 2. Model of 5G base station
As shown in Figure S3 each user accesses a base station, and the BS then allocates a channel to each new user when there is remaining channel capacity. If all of the channel capacity of a BS is occupied, a user cannot access this BS and must instead access another BS that is farther away.
