Supercapacitors, in particular, show promise as a means to balance the demand for power and the fluctuations in charging within solar energy systems. Supercapacitors have been introduced as replacements for battery energy storage in PV systems to overcome the limitations associated with batteries [79, , , , , ].
In the rapidly evolving landscape of energy storage technologies, supercapacitors have emerged as promising candidates for addressing the escalating demand for efficient, high-performance energy storage systems. The quest for sustainable and clean energy solutions has prompted an intensified focus on energy storage technologies.
